After impressing in Formula 3 and becoming the Championship’s youngest-ever race winner, Théo Pourchaire moved up to Formula 2 full-time in 2021 with ART Grand Prix.

He became F2’s youngest race winner as he took victory around Monte Carlo in the Feature Race, and claimed another victory and podium en route to P5 in his rookie season.

He returned in 2022 and fought Felipe Drugovich for the Drivers’ Championship, ultimately coming up short, though added another two wins and four further podiums to his F2 record.

Finally in 2023, Pourchaire achieved his goal of winning the F2 title, winning the Sakhir Feature Race in dominant style to set the tone for his Championship-winning campaign. Another eight podium finishes followed before the season was over.

The Frenchman retains his status as a member of the Sauber Junior Team, fulfilling the role of Reserve Driver for the Kick Sauber F1 Team.
