Arriving in Formula 2 after finishing as runner-up in F3 in 2021, Jack Doohan joined Virtuosi Racing in 2022 for his first full-time campaign in the Championship.

The Australian earned three race victories and a further three podiums in his rookie F2 campaign, finshing sixth in the Drivers’ Championship.

He returned with Invicta Virtuosi Racing in 2023 for a second F2 season in which he equalled his ’22 win tally and earned another two podiums en route to P3 in the Championship.

After moving on from Formula 2, he fulfilled the role of Reserve Driver for the Alpine F1 Team as a member of the outfit’s driver academy, taking part in multiple Free Practice 1 sessions across several race weekends.

Ahead of the 2024 Dutch Grand Prix, Doohan was confirmed by the team as teammate to Pierre Gasly for the 2025 F1 season, making him the first Alpine Academy driver to graduate into a full-time race seat with the French team.
