FIA Formula 2’s youngest pole-sitter and race winner, Théo Pourchaire can now add 2023 Champion to his list of records. Locked in a fierce title fight with Frederik Vesti, the battle was electrifyingly close all the way to the final laps in Yas Marina.

Determined to go one better than last season, Pourchaire’s consistency rarely seemed to falter as he took one win, two poles and 10 podiums on his way to the title. His partnership with Victor Martins was rapid from the outset, helping ART Grand Prix to pip PREMA Racing and sweep the board with the Drivers’ title and their first Formula 2 Teams’ title, as well as the top rookie honours.

History continued to be made as a record 13 different winners brought home victory, whilst the Championship broke new ground, venturing down under to take on Melbourne’s Albert Park Circuit for the first time.
