Martins penalised following Jeddah Feature Race

Following the conclusion of the Feature Race in Jeddah, ART Grand Prix’s Victor Martins has received a post-race penalty.

During the race, Martins made contact with Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Paul Aron at Turn 27 as the Virtual Safety Car period ended.

Following the race, the Stewards examined video evidence and heard from both drivers in relation to the incident and judged that in spite of the mitigating circumstances of the VSC ending, Martins was at fault for the collision with Car 17.

As a result, Martins drops from P10 in the classification to 11th. It promotes Aron up into the final points-paying position after the Estonian finished P11.
