Ayumu Iwasa set for FP1 outing with Red Bull in Barcelona

Red Bull has confirmed that Ayumu Iwasa will be taking part in Free Practice 1 for the team at the Barcelona-Catalunya Grand Prix this weekend.
The Japanese driver will be taking over from Isack Hadjar in the opening session of the F1 weekend on Friday.
He joins several F2 alumni such as Luke Browning, Leonardo Fornaroli and Paul Aron in taking part in the FP1 session, alongside current DAMS Lucas Oil driver Dino Beganovic.
Iwasa last drove for Red Bull during the post-season tests in Abu Dhabi following the conclusion of the 2025 season.
