Trident’s Richard Verschoor has been allowed to participate in both the Sprint and Feature Races in Monte Carlo, having been permitted by the Stewards to start from the back of the grid.

The Dutchman was unable to set a representative time during today’s Qualifying session within the 107% cut-off. A crash in Group B forced him to abandon his attempt, having experienced ongoing electrical issues during the session. His best time was a 1:29.993.

The Stewards determined that his laptime of 1:22.181 from Free Practice was sufficient to take part in the races, starting from 22nd.
