Monte Carlo Qualifying groups confirmed

Following the Drivers’ Briefing ahead of Round 5, a ballot was held to determine the order in which the two groups for Formula 2 Qualifying in Monte Carlo will take to the track.
Group A will be formed of all even-numbered cars followed by Group B featuring all of the odd-numbered cars.
Qualifying will commence at 15:10 local time on Friday afternoon, with Group A heading out on the green light. Group B is set to follow for the second segment of the session, beginning at 15:34 local time.
Pole position will go to the driver with the fastest time across both groups, with the fastest driver in the slower group lining up on the front row in second position.
Grid positions will then alternate back and forth between the two groups to form the remainder of the grid.
In Saturday’s Sprint Race, the fifth-quickest driver from the slower group will go from reverse grid pole position, joined on the front row by the fifth-placed driver in Qualifying from the faster group.
