Juan Manuel Correa is the next driver who must put their decision-making skills to the test as we ask him some tough Would You Rather questions.

The DAMS Lucas Oil driver was confident in his answers though as he explained why he would choose to be too hot rather than too cold, why he likes the Prime-Option strategy, before also revealing his favourite Hip Hop artist.

WEIGHTS OR CARDIO?

“Weights. It's more entertaining than cardio. I think with weights you suffer a bit less in general than cardio, but I end up doing more cardio than weights.”

HOME OR MONACO GRAND PRIX WIN?

“I don't have home race, so I'll pick Monaco. But if I did, I would rather win my home race.”

UNDERSTEER OR OVERSTEER?

“Oversteer. I think you can still be quick with oversteer if you manage it well. Understeer sometimes there is nothing you can do to compensate.”

GIVE UP YOUR FAVOURITE MEAL FOR A YEAR OR EAT IT EVERY DAY FOR ONE YEAR?

“I would have it every single day of the year for sure. I have no issues eating sushi every day. No issues.”

HANDS FOR FEET OT FEET FOR HANDS?

“Hands for feet. I mean braking with your hands would be complicated but imagine turning the wheel with your feet. That's even worse.”

FIRST TO ARRIVE OR LAST TO ARRIVE?

“First to arrive for sure. I hate being late.”

TOO HOT OR TOO COLD?

“Too hot. I feel like being too hot I can just take clothes off and just sweat it out but being too cold is just miserable. I hate being too cold. I am more warm-blooded. I grew up in really warm temperatures.”

RACE SUIT THAT’S TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL?

“Too big. For sure too big. Driving with a tight race suit is horrible, you feel like a packed sausage. It gets you more tired actually because you have less blood flow to certain parts of your body so I definitely would prefer a bigger race suit.”

ROCK OR HIP HOP?

“Hip Hop. I am a big Hip Hop fan. My favourite depends on what era and different types of Hip Hop, but I listen to a lot of Drake. I know it's mainstream, but I like Drake. I like J-Cole, I like Kendrick Lamar. I grew up in Miami, so I am pretty big on Hip Hop culture.”

WIN THE INDY 500 OR THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS?

“I think I would take Indy 500. Le Mans is amazing but Indy 500, it being just one driver in the car, and I went to the Indy 500 once and I was just blown away.”

TELEPORTATION OR ABILITY TO READ PEOPLE’S MINDS?

“Teleport for sure. Especially with my lifestyle. Imagine how good it would be if I could sleep at home every night, it doesn't matter where I am racing, where I am travelling. The film Jumper, I love it, it's one of my favourite films. I wish I could teleport; it would save me so many fights with my girlfriend. I'll be home for dinner don't worry!”

OPTION PRIME OR PRIME OPTION?

“I quite like the Prime-Option because you need a lot of self-control to be calm in the beginning and to not mess up your Primes, but you reap the benefits in the end. It is always fun to come back from a little further back with better tyres and come back through the field so Prime-Option is my favourite.”

SHOEY OUT OF YOUR TEAMMATE’S SHOE OR YOUR BOSS’ SHOE?

“Oh no. I am looking at both of them right now and I think I would go with my team boss. Jak moves around too much; his feet are probably sweaty.”

LATE-BRAKING DIVE DOWN THE INSIDE OR SWEEP ALL THE WAY AROUND THE OUTSIDE?

“If I am guaranteed success, outside, because it’s just a bit more embarrassing for the other guy, but it is always riskier so if you have the inside you take it.”

WIN FROM POLE OR LAST?

“I think win from pole actually because it means you poled it and that means a lot. Sometimes winning from last in F2 you got lucky with the strategy, there was a Safety Car, okay awesome you won the race but where you really the strongest competitor? Probably not. So, win from pole is special.”
