Amaury Cordeel penalised after Silverstone Sprint Race

Following the conclusion of Round 9’s Sprint Race at Silverstone, Amaury Cordeel has been awarded a five-second time penalty for overtaking Clément Novalak off track and gaining a lasting advantage. The Stewards found that the Invicta Virtuosi Racing driver passed the #21 Trident car whilst outside the track limits at Turn 15 and did not give the position back.
As a result, the Belgian drops from P15 to P16 in the final classification, promoting Roman Stanek up one place.
