After one of the most exciting Formula 2 seasons came to a close at Yas Marina, the paddock gathered together one last time on Sunday night for the official Prize Giving Ceremony.

The evening was a celebration of all the hardworking people within the paddock, as well as a chance for the teams and the drivers to receive their awards and accolades.

Leonardo Fornaroli was a big winner on the night, taking home the Pirelli Award for the highlight of the season, and the Antoine Hubert Award, which is given to the top rookie.

He was also presented with the trophy for winning this year’s Formula 2 title by Formula 1 CEO and President Stefano Domenicali.

Jak Crawford and Richard Verschoor were also given their trophies for finishing second and third respectively in the Drivers’ Championship.

Additionally, Luke Browning received the Dallara Award for the best overtaking manoeuvre, while Alexander Dunne took home the Mecachrome Award for the most outstanding win.

Arvid Lindblad also won the Aramco Best Performance Award.

On the teams’ side of things, Invicta Racing Team Principal James Robinson was in attendance to take home the trophy following their title triumph.

He was also joined on stage by Oli Oakes, who picked up the trophy for Hitech TGR after they finished second in the Teams’ Standings, and Adrián Campos, following Campos Racing’s third place result.

At the end of the night, all those with trophies went up to stage for a picture, bringing an end to a special evening and season.
