Following the FIA Formula 2 Sprint Race in Jeddah, Trident teammates Richard Verschoor and Roman Stanek have been disqualified after a technical breach.

The Trident #22 and #23 cars were found to have had an incorrect throttle pedal progressivity map installed prior to the race which was not in compliance with Article 8.2.6 of the Technical Regulations.

As a result, Verschoor loses his victory, while Stanek loses 10th. This gives MP Motorsport driver Dennis Hauger the race win, promotes Hitech Pulse-Eight’s Paul Aron to second, while Van Amersfoort Racing’s Enzo Fittipaldi moves up to third.

It also means Invicta Racing’s Kush Maini moves up to eighth and into the final points-paying position.
