Williams Racing has confirmed that Luke Browning will be back in the FW47 for the first Practice session of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.
He will also be taking part in the post-season Young Driver Test with the team; the second time he has fulfilled the role after doing so in 2024.
Browning has taken part in two prior FP1 sessions with the team already this season, driving at the Bahrain and Mexico City Grands Prix in place of Carlos Sainz on both occasions.
In Abu Dhabi, he will replace Alexander Albon for the opening session of the F1 weekend, an opportunity he said he was hugely grateful for.
"It’s going to be an unforgettable weekend in Abu Dhabi fighting for the Formula 2 title while getting back behind the wheel of the FW47, and it’s a challenge I’m going to relish.
"The Young Driver Test will give me a final opportunity to help the team prepare for 2026 and I’m looking forward to being part of a Formula 1 weekend for the last time this season.
"Thank you to everyone at the Driver Academy and Williams for the trust once again.”
