Following the conclusion of the FIA Formula 2 Free Practice session for Round 6 in Barcelona, Alexander Dunne has been handed two grid penalties.
The Rodin Motorsport driver was summoned to the Stewards following a collision with Victor Martins at the Pit Lane Start line during the session.
After examining video evidence and listening to both drivers, the Stewards determined that Dunne had been wholly to blame for the incident after he admitted to misjudging the speed of Martins in front, and despite his attempts to avoid the collision, both cars made contact.
As a result, the Stewards have elected to hand Dunne a three-place grid penalty for both the Sprint and Feature Races.
He is now set to serve two separate grid penalties in the Sprint Race, with a 10-place penalty carried over from last week in Monte Carlo.
