AIX Racing confirm Niels Koolen for Monza and Baku Rounds

AIX Racing have confirmed that Niels Koolen will be replacing Taylor Barnard at the next two rounds of the 2024 FIA Formula 2 season in Monza and Baku.
AIX have confirmed the Dutchman will replace the Briton after a season of racing in America where he had been competing in the Indy NXT Series.
Speaking following the announcement, Koolen was full of gratitude for the opportunity to race in the Championship.
“I am very happy with the opportunity from AIX Racing to participate in Formula 2 in Monza and Baku,” said Koolen. “A few years ago I had the dream to get into Formula racing.
“Since then, I have been training constantly to prepare myself for this step. I want to thank all the people who supported me in this journey and look forward to my first Formula 2 race.”
