Oscar Piastri and Guanyu Zhou are amongst a host of 2021 Formula 2 drivers set to star at the Formula 1 end of season Young Driver Test at the Yas Marina Circuit.

Ahead of stepping up as Alpine’s Reserve Driver next year, 2021 Drivers’ Champion Piastri will get his hands on the A521.

The Australian’s title rival, Zhou, was announced as F2’s ninth F1 graduate in November, earning promotion with Alfa Romeo, and the Chinese driver will climb into the cockpit of the team’s C41 ahead of joining full-time.

The third of six current F2 drivers to take part in the test will be 2021 vice-champion Robert Shwartzman. The PREMA Racing driver will dovetail for both Ferrari and HAAS at the test.

Hitech Grand Prix and Red Bull Junior Team duo Jüri Vips and Liam Lawson will both be taking part, with the Estonian set for a day in Red Bull’s RB16B, while Lawson will drive Alpha Tauri’s AT02.

The final of the F2 contingent to be taking part is Logan Sargeant. The American driver - who will race for Carlin in the 2022 F2 championship – only joined the Williams Driver Academy in November but will get to make his F1 debut in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday.
