Ritomo Miyata will be racing for Hitech TGR in the 2026 Formula 2 season, the team has confirmed.
Miyata will be returning for a third campaign in the Championship having achieved one podium in the Spa-Francorchamps Feature Race this season, finishing 16th with 26 points.
The Japanese driver also has previous title-winning success, having won the 2020 Super Formula Lights and 2023 Super Formula and Super GT achieved two podiums in the 2024 Formula 3 season Championships.
Miyata will now return for another campaign in F2 with Hitech.
“I’m really excited to be joining Hitech for the 2026 FIA Formula 2 season. My first campaigns in F2 have been invaluable for my development, allowing me to gain experience with the cars, tyres, and circuits, and to refine my racecraft against some of the strongest young drivers in the world.
