2026 Monte Carlo Qualifying Groups confirmed

At today’s Drivers Briefing in Monte Carlo, a ballot was as held to determine the order in which the two groups for Friday’s Formula 2 Qualifying in Monte Carlo will take to the track.
Group A will be formed of all odd-numbered cars followed by Group B featuring all of the even-numbered cars.
Qualifying is scheduled to start at 15:10 local time on Friday afternoon, with Group A heading out on the green light. Group B is set to follow shortly afterwards at 15:34 local time.
Pole position will go to the driver with the fastest time across both groups, while the quicker driver in the slower group will line up on the front row in second.
Grid positions will then alternate back and forth between the two groups to form the remainder of the starting order.
