Alesi disqualified from Sprint Race classification

Frenchman Giuliano Alesi has been disqualified from today’s Round 1 Sprint Race results after it was found that he had been using a tyre allocated for the right hand side on the left hand side of his Trident car. This is in breach of Article 24.1 of the 2019 FIA F2 Championship Sporting Regulations.
Alesi had finished in 18th position and this post race penalty thus promotes Juan Manuel Correa and Mahaveer Raghunathan to 18th and 19th in the final classification.
