Antonio Fuoco penalised

Antonio Fuoco has been penalised following today’s Sprint Race. The Italian was found guilty of failing to serve a time penalty during his pit stop. When the Charouz driver entered the pitlane to repair damage on his front wing from contact with Sergio Sette Câmara, he exceeded the speed limit. The Stewards thus imposed a 5 second time penalty. But when Fuoco pitted once more after he did not serve the penalty.
As a consequence, the Italian was handed with a 3 place grid penalty for Round 9 Feature Race which will take place at Spa-Francorchamps in four weeks’ time.
