Following today’s FIA Formula 2 Championship Sprint Race at Monza, Italy, it was determined that MP Motorsport’s Ralph Boschung was at fault for the collision involving Sean Gelael.
Boschung was adjudged to have moved to the right under braking for turn 4, making contact with the Indonesian driver which resulted in the retirement of both cars. As a result, Boschung will receive a five-place grid penalty for the next race at Sochi, which will take place from 28-30 September.
