Brando Badoer steps up with Rodin Motorsport for the 2027 season
Brando Badoer has signed with Rodin Motorsport for the 2027 FIA Formula 2 season

Rodin Motorsport have confirmed the signing of Brando Badoer for the 2027 FIA Formula 2 season.
Badoer steps up to F2 after a strong 2026 campaign with Rodin in Formula 3, finishing eighth in the Drivers’ Standings. The Italian achieved four podiums this season, including a Feature Race victory in Monte Carlo.
Prior to that, Badoer finished sixth in the 2023 Formula 4 UAE, Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships.
In 2024, the 20-year-old also finished fifth in the Formula Regional European Championship and fourth in the 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship.
Badoer now continues his rise up the single seater ladder with Rodin, and at the announcement, he expressed how excited he was to continue with the team in Formula 2.
“I’m really happy to be announced as a Formula 2 driver for Rodin Motorsport," said Badoer. "I’m grateful to the team for the opportunity and the trust they’ve put in me, and after such a great season together, I’m excited to continue this journey.
"I really feel like Rodin is a family, so I’m looking forward to working with the F2 team, building on what we’ve achieved and creating more great moments together.”
Rodin Motorsport Sporting Director Benn Huntingford added: “I’m delighted to continue our relationship with Brando as he takes the next step into FIA Formula 2 next season. He’s shown great progress throughout his first season with the team, securing a race win at Monaco and multiple podiums along the way, while playing a key role in leading our F3 campaign. His performances have shown what he’s capable of and we’re looking forward to seeing him build on that experience as he continues his career in Formula 2.”
