Bruno’s Take - Round 2

It’s a pleasure to come racing in Baku: we are always warmly welcomed in this beautiful and entertaining city which held the second round of our 2019 season last weekend.
Our support paddock is located just a hairbreadth from the Formula One paddock which increases the feeling of being fully integrated into the Grand Prix weekend. It also means that it’s quick for us to commute from one paddock to another making it easy for our drivers to meet with the F1 teams they are linked to and the media.
This weekend, we saw three new teams feature on the podium with Campos Racing taking two rostrums whilst MP Motorsport and Sauber Junior Team by Charouz pocketed one each. It’s always important to show that every team on our grid is able to perform which makes our Championship so exciting and unpredictable.

All in all, it’s been a fantastic weekend for us and it’s always such a pleasure to walk through the F1 paddock after our races and get stopped by people telling me how great the racing has been. We may have seen only thirteen finishers on both days, but that’s also due to the nature of the track in Baku. I don’t expect Round 3 at Barcelona to be more of the same in that department, but for sure, the show will be there and I am impatient to see who will come out on top this time!
