Callum Ilott – You’re the boss

We hand the reigns over to Callum Ilott who crafts a new addition to the FIA Formula 2 calendar. Choosing everything from the country, to the celebrities that he would invite, the Briton creates a new race weekend.
Which country would the race be based in? England!
England would be the most comfortable for me. If I wasn’t allowed to pick my own country, then probably Italy, which is a good one for fans, but it’s my race so I’m sticking with England.
Which city in that country? How about we do a street circuit in the middle of London – going past Buckingham Palace. I can't remember what’s next to Buckingham Palace, but around that area. There would be a few 90 degree corners in there, ohh, and some roundabouts [laughs]!
Would it be a day or a night race? Night. Why not? It is different. For me, it looks better and you get better photographs.
Would it be a wet or a dry race? Wet to dry. Starting off wet because it would be carnage and you’d end up with only ten drivers going. Then, strategies come in towards the end and it is down to who uses slicks, etc. I want the most diversity possible.
Which celebrity would attend the event? Most of them have already been to F1 races, like Will Smith for example, he went to Abu Dhabi last year. I’m going to go with Connor McGregor, he’d be cool - why not?
