Campos Racing duo given grid penalty

Jack Aitken and Dorian Boccolacci have been handed a three place grid drop for tomorrow’s F2 Feature Race at Barcelona, after their Campos Racing cars were both found to have used an undeclared rear part of the wooden plank during free practice.
This is a breach of Article 4.4 of the 2019 FIA F2 Championship Technical Regulations.
Both drivers completed 10 laps in Qualifying, Aitken had qualified P5 with a fastest time of 1:28.355, with teammate Boccolacci originally qualifying P9 following a time of 1:28.581.
They will now start tomorrow’s race from P8 for Aitken and P12 for Boccolacci.
