Gabriele Minì disqualified from Baku Practice

Following the conclusion of FIA Formula 2 Practice in Baku, MP Motorsport driver Gabriele Minì has been disqualified.

Car 9 was summoned to the Stewards after the FIA Technical Delegate reported that an insufficient quantity of fuel remained in the car post-session.

The team could not provide the required 0.8Kg fuel sample after Practice, a potential breach of Article 6.3.1 of the 2026 FIA Formula 2 Technical Regulations.

The Stewards heard from an MP Motorsport team representative and ruled that there was no justifiable reason for the infringement and breach of the Technical Regulations.

As a result, Car 9 is disqualified from the results.
