Guanyu Zhou’s dream Chinese race

We hand the reigns over to Guanyu Zhou who crafts a brand-new addition to the FIA Formula 2 calendar. Choosing everything from the country, to the celebrity that he would invite, the UNI-Virtuosi driver creates a new race weekend.
WHERE WOULD THE RACE BE HELD?
Shanghai, China. It’s my home country and you always get a special feeling at a home race. F2 have never raced in China, so if that could happen - which would be difficult - it would be really special for me.
HOW WOULD THE TRACK BE LAID OUT?
I would have a normal track - as a driver I am more into normal circuits. I would like to have a medium to high speed track, with a few slow hairpins in the mix. It would not be all high speed or slow speeds, there would be a real mix of both and a lot of opportunities to overtake.
It would be nice to see big buildings all around it, but with it not being a street track we can't really do that. If there are some corners though where there can be tall towers and large buildings on there, or something, that would be cool.

Maggots and Becketts at Silverstone are quite special so I would like to have something like in the track. Then, there would be a part like at Paul Ricard where you have a chicane into a hairpin, where it is a long left, into a tight right. These are quite nice and give you a lot of opportunities to overtake.
In terms of the tarmac on the track, we could have it printed with the Chinese flag, having that on the curb or the tarmac would be quite cool.
WET OR DRY?
A cloudy race - but dry. I don't mind the wet, but everything is just nice and easy in the dry and you can go flat out.
DAY OR NIGHT?
Night I think, that would be cool.
WHICH CELEBRITY WOULD YOU INVITE TO THE RACE?
I would invite Show Lo, he is a Chinese actor and singer and he’s really into shoes like me.
