Laurens van Hoepen to race with TRIDENT in Lusail and Yas Marina

TRIDENT has confirmed that Laurens van Hoepen will remain with the team for the final two rounds of the 2025 FIA Formula 2 season.
The Dutch driver made his F2 debut in Baku with the Italian outfit, finishing 17th in both races back in Round 12.
Van Hoepen said he was happy to be back in the cockpit with TRIDENT for the last two rounds of the season, adding that his experience in Baku would aid him more.
“After the experience in Baku, I’ll be back in an FIA F2 Championship car at Lusail and Yas Marina. I can’t wait to get back on track, where the keyword for me will be consistency. My goal will be to be consistently fast.”
TRIDENT Team Manager Giacomo Ricci added: “Laurens Van Hoepen’s positive debut in Baku with Trident Motorsport in the FIA F2 Championship naturally continues: we will field the Dutch driver in the final two events of the season as well, with the aim of helping him grow in the category and be consistently competitive. I believe all the ingredients are there to do well.”
