Martí and Shields penalised following Baku Feature Race

Following the conclusion of the Baku Feature Race, Josep María Martí and Cian Shields have received a post-race penalty.
Firstly, the Campos Racing driver was alleged to have caused a collision with Car 23 of Martinius Stenshorne at Turn 1.
Following the race, the Stewards heard from both drivers and their team representatives and examined available video evidence.
They determined that contact was made between the cars, and that Car 3 was not alongside Car 23 sufficiently to be ahead at the apex of the corner as per the Driving Standard Guidelines.
As a result, the Stewards found that Car 3 had not established any rights to track position, leading to the collision that was wholly the fault of Car 3.
They subsequently applied a 10-second time penalty to the Spaniard. With the application of his penalty, Martí drops from his original P6 down to 11th.
Lastly, Shields has also been handed a post-race time penalty.
The AIX Racing driver was alleged to have set a fastest minisector under Yellow Flag conditions at Turn 15.
Following the race, the Stewards heard from the driver and team representative and examined available evidence.
They determined that Car 21 had not slowed sufficiently under the Yellow Flags, and as a result, applied a 10-second time penalty.
With the penalty applied, Shields remains 18th in the classification.
