Nikola Tsolov handed post-Feature Race penalty in Barcelona

Following the conclusion of the FIA Formula 2 Feature Race in Barcelona, Nikola Tsolov has been handed a post-race penalty.
The Campos Racing driver was investigated after being alleged to have overtaken Car 9 of Gabriele Minì off the circuit.
After the race, the Steward reviewed CCTV, drone footage and high resolution imagery, along with hearing from both drivers and team representatives.
The Stewards determined that Car 6 completed an overtake on Car 9 off the circuit at Turn 10 and 11, breaching Article 27.3 of the FIA Formula 2 Sporting Regulations.
They also noted that Tsolov was off circuit for an extremely short period of time, with a marginal distance to the white line to such extent, high resolution images were needed to confirm the infringement was committed.
As a result, they applied a lesser five-second time penalty for the offence.
With the penalty applied, Tsolov is now classified P4 in the Feature Race results, with Alexander Dunne promoted to P2 and Minì in P3.
