Ralph Boschung: My greatest influences

We sat down with Ralph Boschung to discuss his greatest influences. The Campos racer looked back over the people who have inspired and had an impact on him throughout his fledging motorsport career.
MY FIRST INVESTOR
“I was thinking hard about who I would choose because there isn’t just one person for me, it is a lot of people who have helped and influenced me along the way. One person that would make this list is my first main investor/sponsor. I don't want to mention his name as he is quite private, but he would make the list.
“He’s a very well-established business in Switzerland and he has guided me well during my career, both as a person and in business, he’s taught me a lot.”

THE FORMULA 1 DRIVERS THAT I GREW UP WATCHING
“When I was a kid, I respected everyone on the Formula 1 grid in general and enjoyed watching them all. I was watching documentaries and races from the past and one driver that I always thought was pretty cool is James Hunt. He wasn’t an influence for me, and he wouldn't make this list, but I do think he was pretty cool.”
MY GRANDFATHER
“Out of all of the people who have helped me, it is very difficult to name one particular person. My grandfather passed away when I was quite young, but I think he was a very powerful person. I would say that he was probably the most influential person within my closer surroundings.”
