Roman Stanek handed three-place grid penalty for Monaco

Following today’s Free Practice in Monte Carlo, Roman Stanek has been handed a three-place grid penalty. The Trident driver collided with Campos Racing’s Ralph Boschung at Turn 19 early on in the session, resulting in a Red Flag.
After examining video evidence and listening to both drivers, the Stewards determined that Stanek had turned in on Boschung without giving the Campos driver the required space, making the Czech driver wholly responsible for the collision.
Stanek will serve the penalty in the next race in which he competes.
