Round 3 post Feature Race penalties

Marcus Armstrong has received a five second time penalty after it was determined that during his pit stop, the front trolley jack was lowered prior to the rear wheels being completely fitted. Although the light to indicate to the driver to go was still red, Armstrong released the clutch while the right rear Hitech Grand Prix mechanic was still working on the wheel causing an injury to the mechanic. The New Zealander admitted his error. He had finished P13 and now classifies P16.
Meanwhile, Olli Caldwell was handed a drop of 3 grid places for Round 4 Sprint Race at Barcelona after he entered the pit lane for his second reconnaissance lap prior to today’s Feature Race and nearly made contact with the tyre trolley and mechanic of DAMS.
Finally, Amaury Cordeel received a 5 second time penalty after it was found that he had exceeded the pit lane speed limit. The Belgian classifies last.
