Round 4 post sprint race penalties

Two drivers have been penalised following today’s FIA Formula 2 Sprint Race at the Circuit de Monaco.
Firstly, it was found that Luca Ghiotto had been overly optimistic when trying to overtake Mahaveer Raghunathan going into Turn 6, which resulted in him making contact with the MP Motorsport car and forcing them both to retire. It was determined that the Italian was to blame for the collision and he has received a drop of three grid places for Round 5 at Les Castellet, France.
Furthermore, it was found that Raghunathan gained an advantage at the race start of today’s race, when he left the track at Turn 1 and drove through the pit lane exit. This is a breach of Article 27.3 and he will also receive a drop of three grid places in Round 5.
