Round 7 post Feature Race penalties

Following today’s FIA Formula 2 Feature Race at Silverstone, three drivers have received time penalties from the Stewards.
First, it was found that Giuliano Alesi had exceeded the pit lane speed limit by 0.1km/h during the event. Therefore, 5 seconds have been added to his total race time. Nikita Mazepin also received a 5 second time penalty after it was found he too had exceeded the pit lane speed limit by 0.1km/h.
Moreover, Alesi was handed a 10 second stop & go with an additional 20 seconds after it was determined that his Trident car had been released in an unsafe manner. The left rear wheel nut was not attached correctly during his mandatory pitstop. He was released, but was stopped and pushed back up the pit lane by his team where they refitted the wheel nut correctly and released his car once more.
Finally, Arjun Maini made contact with the back of Mazepin’s car at the end of today’s race. It was found that the Indian driver was wholly responsible for the contact for which he apologised to Mazepin. Five seconds were thus added to the total race time of Maini.
After each time penalty was applied, Maini now classifies P13, Mazepin P16 and Alesi P17.
