Round 8 Post Feature Race Press Conference
Hear what Rafael Câmara, Tasanapol Inthraphuvasak and Nikola Tsolov had to say at the end of the Spa-Francorchamps Feature Race

FIA Formula 2: Welcome everyone to today's FIA Formula 2 press conference following the Feature Race here at Spa. Joining us P3 from Campos Racing, it's Nikola Tsolov. In second place from ART Grand Prix, it's Tasanapol Inthrapuvasak, From Invicta Racing, capturing his second Feature Race win, it's Rafael Câmara, congratulations, great drive. You converted pole to victory. How does that one feel?
Rafael Câmara: It feels very good, especially after Silverstone, where we did pole position and didn’t manage to have a good race. But it was good. It was a very good weekend in general. I think we were able to execute all the things pretty well. So I think it was very nicely done for us. Also from the team, they did a very good job the whole weekend, the car was amazing. I think it was a good race today. A lot of things going on with the Red Flag, we stopped and got going again so you're a bit unsure what's going to happen. But in the end, very happy with what we managed to do today and just need to make sure we keep doing our job, focusing and getting stronger.
FIA Formula 2: Yeah, you had mentioned it was a pretty busy race out there today. Can you just take me through it from your perspective?
Câmara: I think we did a very good job in the first part with the Options and also the outlap with the Prime was quite good. So it was looking very good for us. I think we were in a good position. You just focus and maximise what you can control, and I think we did that very well. So happy with the job we did today.
FIA Formula 2: You scored some big points here today. Will you be thinking about the championship and battling for it more after this win?
Câmara: I mean, of course, it's always nice to be there fighting. But in the end, the approach is always very similar, you're just really focusing on yourself. There's a very long way to go. So I want to make sure we maximise what we can control and for sure I hope that in the end we can be there in fighting for this Championship.
FIA Formula 2: Congratulations on the victory. Tasanapol coming to you, first podium in Formula 2. How does that one feel?
Tasanpol Inthrapuvasak: It feels really good. It's been a long time since I've had champagne, so really good. Overall, a good week for myself and the team. I think we have been on it since the Red Bull Ring now and been more consistent over the last few races. Really happy that we can put it together in the Feature Race today, even though it was a messy race overall with the Red Flags. Happy to be standing on the podium.
FIA Formula 2: You'd mentioned that you've been very consistent over the last few races. You've been in the points three times over the last four races, and captured your first podium here on Sunday. You've also shown some great pace as well. Does a win feel in the cards for yourself this season?
Inthrapuvasak: For sure. The goal is to get a win. But I think the approach every weekend continues to stay the same. I think that it's a good sign that we're starting to be fighting at the front with the championship contenders now. So I'm pretty happy with how the team and I are working and we'll continue to push forward.
FIA Formula 2: Congratulations on the P2. Nikola coming to you, you were able to score some crucial points here today in the championship. How does this podium feel?
Nikola Tsolov: It's a mixed feeling, if I have to be honest. Usually we make a step forward every race and every session, basically, and I feel like we made a small step back today. But obviously, it's a part of the process. We tried to do something different, which didn't quite work to plan. But I'm still happy to come away with third. I think we managed to execute a clean race, more or less, let's say, because a lot of people crashed, or were on the wrong strategy, etc. So I have to say that today, probably we were on the lucky side. But we take days like this, and hopefully we come back stronger for next week in Budapest.
FIA Formula 2: Can you take me through your opening stint? And how was the tyre?
Tsolov: Yeah, we knew it was going to be tough. It was all about survival. So I think no one really wanted to push a lot. I had a good restart and then obviously tried to attack Rafa into T1. We had a little touch there, and I think from that moment onwards, for some reason, I didn't have so much pace anymore. Also, the car was a little broken. So we got the chance during the Red Flag to fix the side pod. So they really dropped off, especially with the setup we had today. It was not the right choice, I think.
FIA Formula 2: Congratulations on the P3.
