Sargeant set for F2 debut with HWA RACELAB in Jeddah

2021 Formula 3 race winner Logan Sargeant will make his Formula 2 debut in Jeddah with HWA RACELAB, stepping up on the back of three seasons in the third tier.
A title challenger with PREMA Racing in 2020, the Williams junior narrowly missed out on the Championship to current F2 leader Oscar Piastri, finishing third overall with six podiums, including two wins.
Switching to Charouz Racing System for 2021, Sargeant led the Czech team to their highest ever points tally in F3, as well as their first victory at that level. Finishing seventh in the Drivers’ standings, Sargeant took four podiums in total, including the Race 1 victory at Sochi.

Sargeant – who was announced as a member of the Williams Driver Academy in October – is also a race winner in Formula Renault Eurocup and British Formula 4.
Sargeant will join Italian racer Alessio Deledda at the German team, replacing Jake Hughes. HWA RACELAB are yet to announce their driver line-up for the season finale at Yas Marina.
