Viscaal handed post-Sprint Race 1 time penalty

Bent Viscaal has received a five second time penalty following today’s Sprint Race 1 in Yas Marina, after it was found that he had caused a collision with Christian Lundgaard.
The stewards determined that the Dutchman was closely following behind Lundgaard at the entrance of Turn 9 and made contact with the rear of the Dane’s ART Grand Prix.
The Trident man was found to be wholly responsible for the contact.
Viscaal, who classified 13th, remains 13th with the penalty applied.
