Would you Rather with Mari Boya

PREMA Racing’s Mari Boya takes on our Would you Rather questions in the break between Rounds 1 and 2.
The Spaniard gives us the lowdown on some very difficult decisions, Indy 500 or Le Mans glory and, somewhat unsurprisingly, why speed matters most.
Would you rather have a one-minute conversation with your future self or your past self?
“With my past self. Because I feel if I can change a few things that I know now, maybe I will be in the position I am right now.”
Would you rather have to shout all the time or whisper all the time?
“So you're only able to shout when you're talking or whisper when you're talking? Shout, I'm a bit emotional. I'll always end up shouting.”
Would you rather be TikTok famous or YouTube famous?
“TikTok. I really like it. I watch a little bit of both. I try not to when we’re in a debrief!”
Would you rather everything you eat be too sweet or too salty?
“Salty. I like savoury food more than sweet.”

Would you rather eat burgers for a week or ice cream for a week?
“If I have to choose for a cheat meal, I will always go for burgers. I don't eat burgers all the time, but I really like them. Maybe after the season, I’ll have some more.”
Would you rather have a head twice as big or half as small?
“Wow. We've got some good questions this year. Twice as big, was it? I think maybe mentally I'm double as well. Actually, I’ll go for smaller!”
Would you rather be constantly sticky or constantly itchy?
“Both are really bad, eh? I don't know…. itchy. For sure they’re both bad, but... they're both really bad, huh?”

Would you rather be able to control fire or control water?
“If I control water, I can kill the fire, so water.”
Would you rather live one 1,000-year life or ten 100-year lives?
“So you live to 100 10 times or live to 1,000 100 times? Do you get to carry over the experience or...? 100 is a good age, no? I feel one 1000-year life is too long...”
Would you rather be really fast or ultra-strong?
Did you ask me that? Fast. Fast, always. There's only one winner.”

Would you rather live in a world without music or without movies?
“Without movies. I really like music, so that's the right answer for me.
Would you rather spend the rest of your life trapped inside or outside?
“Outside of what? Outside or in a building? Outside. It depends where you are. If you're in Spain, it's okay.”
Win the Indy 500 or 24 Hours of Le Mans?
“Indy.”
Win from pole or win from last?
“Pole, 100%. More points.”
Would you rather win the championship without having won that year or take multiple wins but not win the championship?
“Most important thing is the Championship, that’s usually the one they remember the most.”
Win your home Grand Prix once or Monaco Grand Prix multiple times?
“Home race for sure.”
