Oliver Bearman graduated from FIA Formula 3 to Formula 2 in 2023, continuing his affiliation with PREMA Racing after finishing the previous year third in the Championship.

He secured his maiden pole position, Sprint and Feature Race wins in one weekend, becoming the first driver to top every single session across a single Round in Baku.

From there, Bearman added a further two pole positions that season along with Feature Race wins in Barcelona and Spa-Francorchamps.

He finished his rookie season sixth in the Drivers' Championship, and returned in 2024 for a second campaign with PREMA.

At the 2024 Jeddah round, Bearman was called upon by Ferrari to replace Carlos Sainz for the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Bearman became the team's youngest ever driver in the process and put on a fine display to finish his maiden Grand Prix seventh for the famous team.
