BIOGRAPHY
In the last 18 months alone, Théo Pourchaire has become Formula 2 and Formula 3’s youngest ever race winner, taken pole at Monaco and been linked with an F1 seat. In 2022, he’s hoping to add the Formula 2 title to that list.
The 18-year-old first drove for ART in the 2020 F3 campaign, where he finished as runner-up in his rookie season, with two wins and eight podiums. His victory in the Spielberg Sprint Race made him the youngest victor in FIA F3.
Became F2’s youngest polesitter and youngest race winner last season in Monaco, winning the Feature Race from pole, before going on to add a further two podiums, including a win, to finish fifth in the standings.
A member of the French Motor Sport Federation FFSA since 2017, Pourchaire was signed by the Sauber Driver Academy in 2019 and made his Formula 1 debut in a private test at the Hungaroring in August last year, running the 2019 Alfa Romeo C38.
