Jack Aitken

Jack Aitken 2.0 is refreshed and rebooted as he gets set to begin “a new chapter” of his career.

Back for a third season of F2, and a second with Campos, Aitken will be dovetailing it alongside his new role as Williams’ reserve driver. An agreement that, crucially, includes an FP1 appearance for the F1 outfit.

Aitken and Campos made for an emphatic pairing in 2019. The Spanish side were winless in the current era of F2 racing, while Aitken had disappointed with ART Grand Prix in his rookie season in 2018.

Together though, they struck gold, as Aitken fired in three wins throughout the season, including a historic home victory at Silverstone.

Known as one of the jokers of the paddock, there’s a deeper, more intellectual side to Aitken than this persona suggests and his continued presence behind the scenes could help Campos to level up again in 2020.
