Giuliano Alesi

Son of former F1 race winner Jean Alesi, motor racing is in the blood of Giuliano Alesi.

An intelligent driver with an analytical mind, Alesi has been a member of the Ferrari Driver Academy since 2016, when he aligned himself with same team his father famously raced for in F1.

Alesi first announced himself on the scene with a fourth-place finish in his rookie season on French F4, with four wins and four podiums. The Frenchman opted to enter GP3 in just his second year of car racing, and after a rookie season of adjustment, he became a front runner in his sophomore year, when he finished fifth with three wins and four podiums.

Alesi remained in GP3 for another campaign before stepping up to F2. The FDA ace didn’t pull up any trees in his rookie season, but showed plenty of promise with a vast improvement in the latter half of the year.

Five points finishes from his final six races earned him a drive with F2 newcomers BWT HWA RACELAB, when he will look to challenge at the front.
