Team / PREMA Racing
Publicly, there are two versions of Robert Shwartzman. The first is a fearless competitor driven to become a Formula 1 racer, the second is the light-hearted, media savvy operator you see messing about on Tik Tok, Twitter and Instagram. Both of them are utterly and entirely infatuated with cars.
Ultimately, it’s his performances inside of them that matter and those have earned him the label of the most lethal overtaker on the road to F1 across the past two years. Fearless in his pursuit of the Formula 3 title, he pulled off a number of jaw-dropping on his way to clinching the crown.
With three wins and 10 podiums from 10 rounds, he wowed the world with his dominance of F3 and rightly earned himself a seat with PREMA Racing in Formula 2: the final step on the Road to F1 ladder.
He enjoyed an inspiring debut in the top tier of junior motorsport, winning four times – more than any other driver – and only narrowly missing out on the title. Sticking with PREMA in 2021, Shwarztman will settle for nothing less than that.
