Just 16-years-old when he debuted in Formula 3, Theo Pourchaire stunned the junior motorsport world in his maiden campaign. The highly-rated Sauber junior was just looking to learn the ropes in his rookie year, but above and beyond expectations, becoming the Championship’s youngest race winner, and youngest double race-winner.
It only got better from here: the Frenchman grew into a title challenger and only missed out on the crown in the season finale, finishing three points off Oscar Piastri after a run of five podiums from six races.
Stepping up to F2, Pourchaire’s main focus will once again be on gaining experience at this level, but don’t bet against him surprising the field once more.
