Matteo Nannini

Nephew of former Formula 1 driver Alessandro Nannini, Matteo’s one of numerous drivers on the grid with a famous surname, but it’s his swift rise up the junior ladder which has grabbed attention. Just 17-years-old, Nannini only made his single seater debut in 2019, but will be competing in the top tier of junior motorsport this year.

Nannini won the 2019 Formula 4 UAE Championship, with seven wins and 16 podiums from just 20 races, while he also has experience in Spanish F4, Formula Renault Eurocup, Formula Regional and Formula 3.

The Italian said he was working “harder than ever,” in preparation for the step up to Formula 2 as he aims to hit the ground running.
