Kick Sauber F1 Team have confirmed that Robert Shwartzman will be at the wheel of their C44 during Free Practice 1 of the Dutch Grand Prix.
The Scuderia Ferrari Reserve Driver will be taking part in the fourth F1 Practice session of his career after two appearances in 2022 and a third in 2023 with Ferrari.
He will be taking over driving duties from Valtteri Bottas for the opening session of the weekend.
Shwartzman competed in Formula 2 for two consecutive seasons after graduating to the Championship following his FIA Formula 3 Drivers’ Title in 2019.
Across both seasons in F2 with PREMA Racing, Shwartzman took six race victories along with a further six podium finishes, finishing the 2020 campaign fourth and 2021 season second in the Championship.
Since then, Shwartzman has raced in sports cars and the World Endurance Championship with Ferrari.
