“So I am from Piacenza, a town which is more or less one hour from Milan. I was born and grew up there, so I really love the city, even if it's not too big, it has a lot of stuff, to visit and to do.

“The food is amazing there, and I always bring the logo of the city on my helmet since I was a kid, so it's special for me.

“It was really nice growing up there. “I created my own group of friends there, I met my girlfriend there so when I go back from races, I always have a great time there, and also my gym where I go to train is also there. I stay there, I have everything there, so it's perfect for me.

“It's a historical city, so you can see some churches from a long time ago, and the food as well is really good. It's not always super healthy, but it's amazing, like Tortelli with ricotta and spinach, in the butter.

“Sometimes you can put some mushrooms, then you have agnolini in brodo, which is not similar, but it’s like tortelini, but the inside is different. I prefer agnolini, to be honest.

“Then we have things that you cut, like salami, ham. But actually in Italian, we have salumi, it's different parts of the pork, we are very strong on that, also with cheese. I really like the food.

“Also there are some nice restaurants, not only in the centre, but also in the countryside, which is amazing. Almost every Sunday, it's tradition for my family to go there, the food is outstanding.

“Before going to dinner, sometimes I take the car and have some nice trips around the countryside. I go every weekend with my dad, and we have a lot of fun. Have a nice visit to the centre as well.”
