Following the conclusion of the Budapest Sprint Race, Clément Novalak has received a five-place grid penalty after the Trident driver was found wholly responsible for causing a collision with Ralph Boschung at Turn 1.

The Stewards found that whilst attempting to overtake the #25 Campos Racing, Novalak locked his rear brakes and lost control of his car. His front left hit Boschung’s right rear, causing the Swiss driver to stop on the run-off and retire.

As a result, Novalak is now set to start the Feature Race at the Hungaroring from P20, having qualified P15. It promotes Juan Manuel Correa, Arthur Leclerc, Jak Crawford, Roy Nissany and Amaury Cordeel up one position on the grid.
