Joshua Duerksen’s rookie Formula 2 campaign is nearing its end but before he takes on the challenge of Round 13 in Lusail we gave him a few questions to answer.
The AIX Racing driver gives his verdict on some big topics, such as whether he would rather be too hot or too cold and take part in karaoke or a dance off.

“I think weights. You just feel really strong every time when you do it, so I love weights.”

WIN HOME RACE OR MONACO GRAND PRIX?
“My home race, definitely. I mean for the Paraguayan people that would be so special and for me as well, that would be crazy.”
UNDERSTEER OR OVERSTEER?
“Oversteer, always. Oversteer is just the quickest way to go, it's more difficult to drive, a bit tricky but it's faster and I like to go fast.”
GIVE UP YOUR FAVOURITE MEAL FOR LIFE OR EAT IT EVERY DAY FOR A YEAR?
“That's tough. I think I would eat it every day for one year. For example, I just love steak, I could eat it every day and as well it's protein, I need protein, so I'd eat it every day.”
HANDS FOR FEET OR FEET FOR HANDS?
“Sorry, what? Hands for feet. If I have hands where my feet should be I can do more things. If I have feet where my hands are I could not do anything, I couldn’t drive.”

FIRST OR LAST TO ARRIVE?
“First to arrive. I am always a guy that wants to be on time and early and I prefer that than being too late.”
TOO HOT OR TOO COLD?
“Too hot. In Paraguay it's always hot and I love that.”
DRIVE WITH A RACE SUIT THAT’S TOO BIG OR TOO SMALL?
“Too big because if it's too small, it doesn't look nice and it's also just uncomfortable. I prefer too loose because maybe it doesn't look that nice but at least it's comfortable.”
ROCK OR HIP HOP?
“Hip Hop. I don't remember any songs at the moment, but I love everything.”
KARAOKE OR DANCE OFF?
“Karaoke because... well I'm bad at both but I think I am less bad in karaoke than in dancing. Dancing I am just really bad.”

WIN THE INDY 500 OR THE 24 HOURS OF LE MANS?
“That's a tough one. You've got me there. I think Indy 500. Definitely I want to win the 24hrs as well but Indy 500 is really tough and I don't know why but the Indy 500 attracts me a lot.”
ABILITY TO TELEPORT OR READ PEOPLE’S MINDS?
“Read people's minds because what you can do with that is crazy. If you know what people are thinking about you then you can take advantage of that because then you know what they are going to say and then you can prepare for it, it's a very powerful tool.”
OPTION PRIME OR PRIME OPTION?
“The most fun one I think is Prime Option because then at the end you can overtake a lot but I think I will go for Option Prime.”
SHOEY OUT OF YOUR TEAMMATE’S SHOE OR YOUR BOSS’ SHOE?
“I think team boss' shoe because the shoe of my teammate is going to full of sweat, at least the one from my boss, I hope he cleans his feet, so it shouldn't be that bad.”
DIVE DOWN THE INSIDE OR SWEEP AROUND THE OUTSIDE?
“Around the outside is cooler. You just feel a lot more on the limit, you feel that the other guy can push you off and you normally have a lot less grip around the outside so it's a lot cooler if you can overtake around the outside.”
WIN FROM POLE OR WIN FROM LAST ON THE GRID?
“It's always special when you win from pole but it's more fun to win from last. You overtake a lot of cars, you have fun, they show you a lot on TV when you’re doing the overtakes and you win the race, it's a full bonus.”
