Anthoine Hubert – You’re the boss

We hand the reigns over to Anthoine Hubert who crafts a new addition to the FIA Formula 2 calendar. Choosing everything from the country, to the celebrities that he would invite, the BWT Arden man creates a new race weekend.
Which country would the race be based in?
France (laughs). I am French and I love the atmosphere of a French Grand Prix. I saw it last year in Les Castellet and for sure, I would add another one in France.
Which city in that country?
I would choose somewhere in the south of France because the weather is usually quite good there and quite warm. Maybe Lyon, because it’s where I was born.
Would it be a day or a night race?
It would be a day race so that we could go and party in France in the night (laughs).
Would it be a street or a track race?
Street circuit. Firstly, because it is easier to get the people to come to the event, but also because I love to race in the streets. There is always more pressure and a better feeling of speed, so I would go for a street circuit at this race.
Would it be a wet or a dry race?
Dry. I like a wet race, but in a street circuit it is maybe brighter to have a dry race, or it could get a bit messy (laughs).
Which celebrity would attend the event?
I would just invite as many French celebrities as possible and try and pack it out - there is not one person in particular.
